Western security network nicknamed Amotekun in conjunction with some local hunters have apprehended two armed Fulani Herdsmen in a village called Alapa, axis of Ibarapa, Oyo state.
In a video sent to our correspondent, two armed Fulani Herdsmen were arrested with guns, live ammunition, cutlasses and charm. According to information gathered, the incident happened on Monday 14th of June.
In a further investigation, a Lanlate resident who confirmed the incident to our correspondent said ”yes, it’s true. It happened in a village called Alapa, and people who witnessed the scene said this Fulani herdsmen was caught by hunters /Amotekun , and all we can say about this is that these Fulani herdsmen were traveling to somewhere before they were caught.”
He concluded by saying ”and precisely this Alapa village to Lanlate is not less than an hour journey.”
