Some group of Nigerians on Tuesday stormed the Defense Headquarters in Abuja, demanding the military to seize power in the country and stop the swearing-in of the President-elect, Bola Ahmed Tinubu.
A video capturing the incident shows non-supporters of the All Progressives Congress in their numbers, kneeling in front of the Defense Headquarters as they accuse Tinubu of rigging the February 25th presidential election alongside the chairman of the Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC, Prof Yakubu Mahmood.
The spokesman for the group could be heard saying that Nigerians have rejected the collation of election results that led to Mr Tinubu’s victory.
