RE: NIGERIA IS ON LIFE SUPPORT WITH PRESIDENT MUHAMMADU BUHARI AS A LEADER, WE DEMAND HIS SACKING
The attention of the leadership of NANS ZONE D has been quickly drawn to a threatening, destructive, watery and inciting press release from a group of unidentified Students impersonating the offices of the legitimate officials of this association to demand quick removal of President Buhari and his service chiefs. It’s also funny and strange to have seen these disgruntled impostors planning a nationwide protest against President Muhammadu Buhari led administration in the said press release. It’s good to make clarification not because we are afraid of the government but because the press release wasn’t from the duly elected leadership of the zone. South West Students who gave us mandate know how we do our things sensibly and legitimately. Since our assumption into the office, we have made innumerable demands from the present Federal, state and local government on critical, sensitive and invaluable issues not demanding removal of those at the helm of affairs. We have staged massive protests and organized well coordinated press conferences to make demands which have yielded positive result today.
We are also displeased with the spate of insecurity in the nation as we speak. It’s good to let people know that the leadership of NANS South West has been up and doing on issue of insecurity in Nigeria. We made our opinion known when some elected officials of the zone accompanied the Revolutionary President of NANS to Kastina State when our Students were abducted by bandits. We advised the Governor of Kastina State on strategies required to nip banditry in the bud. We have also advised Federal government time immemorial which we believe peace, tranquillity and serenity would be restored in Nigeria very soon.
We believe those who released inciting press statement to demand sacking of Buhari and service chiefs are comedians who are seeking unnecessary attention. The press release is illegal and very senseless because those behind it are either saboteurs or frustrated impostors who are not abreast of happenings in our prestigious association. Therefore, we want to assure South West Students that we shall continue to be up and doing until Nigeria is absolutely extricated from the scourge of insecurity. Totally, the leadership of the most ideological zone in Nigeria dissociates itself from the protest mentioned in the fake press release and we want to advise those gullible impostors to be very careful. We will seriously go against anybody who’s willing to cause fracas, chaos or division in the association. Anybody or group who think he can impersonate NANS ZONE D South West officers to accomplish his demonic mission would reprimand his or herself at the end.
