PRESS STATEMENT ON THE RECENTS KIDNAPPING OF NIGERIAN SCHOOL CHILDREN BY BANDITS
In the past days, the attention of the leadership of NANS LAGOS have been drawn to several kidnapping of Nigerian school children by bandits especially in the Northern parts of the country.
This act by bandits is a serious threat to Nigeria educational system and the future of the country. Our security as students as been put under serious threat by the high level of insecurity which have not become everyday business in the country.
The Buhari administration have failed in the past years to put the activities of banditry, kidnapping and insurgency to check as the security system has become nothing but a shadow of itself, a failed system that have caused nothing but fear in the mind of every Nigerian school children that they are longer safe in an environment that should have been safe ground for them to receive information to help re shape the future of Nigeria to the better.
As an association we condemn totally this act and will not hesitate to call for a one thousand peaceful march against insecurity in the country if the government failed to fine a lasting solution to Nigeria security issues soonest.
We call out as an axis also on the leadership of NANS led by the Revolutionary President of NANS Comrade Days Asefon and the Zonal coordinator of Southwest Comrade Kappo Samuel to take strong decisions and actions towards ensuring the utmost safety of every Nigerian school children.
