NANS LAGOS CONDEMN INCREMENT IN FUEL PRICE, DEMANDS FULL REVERSAL
The attention of the leadership of National Association of Nigerian Students (NANS), Joint Campus Committee, Lagos Axis has been drawn to news headlines that the Federal government have increase the price of P.M.S to N212, this is unappreciated rather its a way to further increase the hardship faced by Nigerians most especially the Nigerian Students.
We as an association and the representive of the students hereby in strong terms, condemn this illegal increment in fuel price by the federal government and in the same vein demand an immediate reverse to the initial price.
The government need to understand the hardship faced by Nigerians to survive in the country coupled with the aftermath effect of the COVID-19 lockdown, ENDSARS effect and economic recession which affect millons of families and many are still struggling to find their stand back economically.
We therefore request for a full reversal of the PMS from the government or face mass actions from Students especially in Lagos as we will put all forces together to ensure the masses win the struggle.
