NANS SOUTHWEST CONDOLES WITH FAMILY, FRIENDS AND LADOKE AKINTOLA UNIVERSITY OF TECHNOLOGY, OGBOMOSHO STUDENTS OVER THE PASSING AWAY OF NIFEMI
WIth a very rude shock, the leadership of the aforementioned ideological association in Nigeria received the sad news of the demise of our beloved comrade and sidekick. That NIFEMI struggled assiduously to the final stage of his academic program before death took him away without notification is a wound the Students of Ladoke Akintola University of Technology Ogbomosho would continue to nurse. It’s painful that death took away our beloved colleague at a time his parents were getting set to reap the fruit of their labour. When NIFEMI was alive, from findings, he was calm, focused and law abiding. His giant strides towards becoming a relevant and invaluable asset to the society shall continue to tarry in our memory.
While mourning our outstanding brother who has been taken away by extemporaneous death, we equally denigrate and heavily backlash LAUTECH medical personnel for poor, ridiculous and extricating medical operation. As standard as the institution is, it’s highly uncalled for that careless, rascal and unintelligent medical personnel can be in charge of Student’s healthcare. If normal thing has been done at appropriate time, it’s possible he’s among the living souls today. We still don’t comprehend why management of the institution have decided to take welfare of Students with a pinch of salt. Having paid necessary fees and dues being charged by the institution with persuasion and unwarranted ultimatum, it’s difficult for Students to enjoy required dividend.
Though we concede the fact that death is inevitable, notwithstanding, we implore Management of Ladoke Akintola University of Technology, Ogbomosho to make adjustments where necessary. Quick medical attention, decent and well equipped medical centre, standard hostel accommodation are what we need to save our dear Students on campus and to avoid a repeat of the previous occurrence. On a final note, the leadership of NANS SOUTHWEST ZONE under the able leadership of Comrade Kappo Samuel Olawale condoles with his family and friends. We pray that God gives his associates the gritiness to bear this irredeemable loss.
