In less than 10 months after the death of his husband, Rt. Hon. Kehinde Ayoola, Oluwakemi Ayoola last night succumbed to death. Oluwakemi was a professor at the Obafemi Awolowo University’s Institute of Agriculture, Research and Training, IAR&T, Apata, Ibadan.
Information gathered reveals that she has been sick for a while, since after the death of her husband, who was Environment Commissioner in the administration of Gov. Seyi Makinde in Oyo state, and erstwhile Speaker to the state legislative arm of Oyo state. The late husband died on 14th May, 2020, two weeks to the one year anniversary of the incumbent administration in the state.
The death of Prof. Oluwakemi Ayoola is a huge lost to education sector, political sector and to Oyo state government as a whole.
