Gistsmate media reported the intertribal fight that happened between Hausa and Yoruba earlier this year in SASA community, an area in Ibadan which resulted to loss of many lives and millions of properties.
Hence, there has been fresh tension in SASA, Ojoo and their environments again as some Hausa/Fulani men who were suspected to be bandits were seen gathering around the vicinity.
While speaking with some residents, one of the witnesses said the community can not sleep with two eyes close again, and many of able bodied men are always outside burning tyres and guiding the community against invaders.
Another resident told our correspondent that some Hausa/Fulani has been spotted around Gospel Town, Igbo-Oloyin, hiding themselves in a bush along the road which is very close to a certain filling station called Babs filling station.
As at the time of filling this report, there has been security patrol around SASA/Ojoo axis and we urge anyone who has one or two relatives around this axes to please start to check on them constantly.
No record of attack has been recorded yet and we don’t pray for such but prevention is better than cure. So, be at alert.
