Fire outbreak razed a Trailer park in Akinyele Local Government Area of Oyo State.
The awful and heartbroken incident which occurred today, Wednesday 27th January, 2020. Our correspondent learnt that the fire started as early as 4am.
The media aide to the caretaker chairman of Akinyele Local Government, Fagbemi Segun says:
“Early this morning, the caretaker chairman of Akinyele Local Government, Hon Taoreed Jimoh Adedigba, received a call about a fire incident at trailer park of Akinyele Local Government.”
“The fire incident which razed some shops which it total number is yet to be known started around 4am this morning, no one could ascertain the source of the fire.”
“The caretaker chairman of Akinyele Local Government Hon.Taoreed, immediately rushed to the point of the incident as he got the report after contacting all the necessary security personnel such as the fire service, police officers, and Amotekun corps.
“Hon.Taoreed Adedigba Jimoh on his arrival at the scene of the incident, commended the efforts of Alakinyele of Akinyele, Oba James Odeniran , officers and men of the fire service and other security outfits for being proactive, noting that their efforts prevented the fire from extending to other side of the market.
