EID-EL-FITR: NANS Zone D Wishes Muslim Faithfuls, Urge Government To Curb Insecurity

The leadership of NANS Zone D under the able leadership of Comrade Kappo Samuel uses this medium to felicitate with all Muslim faithfuls and Nigerian students in Southwest and nation at large on this auspicious celebration of Eid-el-Fitr.

The celebration ultimately symbolises the willingness to stay consecrated selfless in obedience to God’s commandment and for the sake of love.

We admonish all Muslim faithfuls to uphold the great lessons of the festival which include peace, love, honesty and generosity to others, especially during this trying period and beyond.

We also urge you all to use this occasion to remember the nation in prayers as we are faced with the most trying challenges of insecurity, the pandemic and economic meltdown to mention a few. We should extend our kindness and intersession to fellow Muslims and non-Muslims who are striving for survival in war torn zones. Let us also remember victims of insurgence and crises born of religion intolerance and other causes.

All Nigerian Students should also desist from propagating hatred among ourself over religion and other sectional or personal interests. We are all first humans before we are product of different faiths.

We also seek this medium to charge the government across all levels to find a decisive and lasting solution to the many menace that is devouring our land. Politicial interests must be pushed aside and we must sort ways of uniting against our common enemies and adversities.

As we go about the merriments today, let us ensure to do all in moderation and with consciousness for safety. Be your neighbor’s keeper and necessary authorities should be quickly alerted incase of any unusual observation or occurrence.

Again we say,
EID-EL-MUBARAK!
