Edeh Elijah: A Coat Of Beautiful Colours

Today 6th of July, the Pioneer President of Association of Southern Nigerian Students (ASONIS) becomes a year older.

On behalf of all Executive Councils (National and State) the office of ASONIS Chief of Staffs wish Mr President joy unlimited, peace like flowing river, love flawlessly, blessings in abundance, sufficient grace, wishing you many more.

Let’s have brief biography of a man with beautiful visions, outstanding performances and undoubted representation.

Edeh Chinedu Elijah was born on 6th July 1990. He is the fourth child in the family of Mr. Francis O. Edeh and Mrs. Chinyere Edeh.
He was the closest to his father, who was a civil servant at Ministry of Works & Transport Enugu. He has gift for dreams, vision and trance.

He attended five different primary schools. He secured his first leadership position in primary three.
He completed his primary education at Community Primary Obinagu Uwani Akpugo, Nkanu West local government Enugu state. He represented the school in drawing competition and spelling competition at State level competition.

He ventured into gospel music and book writing in 2006.

He attended four different secondary schools. He completed his secondary schools education at Early Harvest International School Lagos state.

He had his first educational degree in Guidance Counseling and Political Science at Enugu State University of Science and Technology.

He founded Sanitary Department in ATCOICOE and served at the college ambassador

He was elected platoon 10 leader during NYSC camp in Ogun state.

He was elected Papa for NACC Ado Odo Ota local government Ogun state.

He established Delight Readers Club in the school where he completed his Youth service.

He secured admission for Master degree program in Educational Management & Administration in National Open University (NOUN) Lagos state.

He secured admission for Master degree program in Guidance & Counseling in University of Lagos (UNILAG).

He was elected the coordinator for National Association of Political Science Students South East Nigeria (NAPSS).
He was elected the national treasurer for Students Counseling Association of Nigeria (SCASSON).
He was nominated and elected the pioneer president for Association of Southern Nigeria Students (ASONIS).
This association has carried out several programs, especially the statewide Road Walk against sexual and gender based violence in collaboration with Police Campaign Against Cultism and Other Vices ( POCACOV) and sponsored by Rt. Hon. Mrs. Onyinye Ugwu.
The deputy governor of Enugu state received the association at government house on 29th August, 2020.

He is the cofounder and President for African Youth Development Council (AYDC).

He was appointed Special Assistant- Media & Public Affairs to the Office of Honourable Member representing Enugu South Rural Constituency.

He is the founder & director for Worldwide Initiative Against Suicide and Drugs (WIASUD). This NGO has carried out several programs in Enugu state Nigeria.

He is the founder of Readers Club International. This reader’s club is chaired by Prof. Anthony Oha.
