EACOED Emeritus President Pens Down Emotional Message For ’21 Set Finalist, Warns Management Against 2020 Results’ Delay

This letter is written with nothing but love and respect for you. When I heard about the date of your examinations, I remembered well the stress and tension, the constant reminders from lecturers and guidance that ‘these are the most important exams you’ll ever take’ and the feeling that you are going to do nothing but spend the next three months of your life revising.

I am eager to write to you and tell you some different words you need in life, hence enlightened you about the stress and tension that usually come up at a time like this.

It’s quite unfortunately that my Facebook was hacked. I wanted you to hear some other messages apart from ‘revise, revise, revise!’ and that feeling that your future success and achievements are all based on getting straight.

This isn’t about detracting from the importance of examinations, or going against what your lecturers have said! These exams are important, revision is necessary, but what I’m trying to say is that there is more to life.

Now that the examinations has done and dusted , I ask you all what next ??

Some will say marriage, some will say job, while some are still yet to think about it.

But the most important thing you need to know is that you are moving on to start a new life, a new trial, and remember:

1. These Four Words

* Be positive
* Principled
* Pro-active and
* Productive.

You need to look from where you start, where you going and what next as a step, this has to be done through these four suitable condition.

2. Discover Yourself:- Consider this job a journey to learn about yourself. The purpose is to grow as a human being; to discover what you’re good at, what you love to do, and what you dislike and you’ll become happier and more passionate in life.

3. Be Open to Change

Don’t get discouraged when a job you really want does not pan out for you. It just opens up doors to other opportunities.

4. Don’t Hide From Mistakes
Be honest. Not sure about something? Ask questions. Screwed up? Own up!

I’ve always valued someone willing to learn, and we do that in different ways. I’ll always highly regard someone willing to be honest about their mistakes because we learn from those just as much as our successes!

5. Keep Moving Forward
Learn to hear feedback and never let it fester. Instead, consider it, take what works, and move on.

6. Learn From Everything
Remember every moment is an opportunity to learn from everyone around you, no matter their title. Pay attention when things go well; pay extra attention when they don’t, and watch how people react to it. Build relationships with the people who face problems by being their solution.

7. Make Connections
Your biggest asset is your network if you don’t know people in this life it somehow difficult to be successful in every journey of life .

8. Be Patient

If you have to believe me,

Networking + Resilience = Success

This is never easy to attain but sometimes your patience lead to success. It won’t be easy but you have to start somewhere. This is just the first step on the stairwell, so don’t give up, and know that the best is yet to come!

9. Utilize Your Co-workers

When you get out there you mingle with different people with different Passion and personality. Don’t be intimidated by your colleagues and superiors!

Remember that they were once in your shoes when they began their careers. Leverage their knowledge and experience and find ways to take what worked for them and adapt it to work for you.

10. Lastly try to treat everyone with respect
Speak when you walk into the office everyday. Say good morning to your boss and peers as you walk past their offices, smile at janitors and receptionists in your office.

Don’t be so focused on getting ahead that it’s all business all the time.

Treating people with humanity and integrity is most important.

As you are moving out of college today I wish you all success in all your endeavors and I suitable journey mercy to your various destination.

Finally, I have to use this medium to call the attention of the college Management that this is another set of student graduands while 2020 set are yet to have their results. Pls do the needful before the month end.
