DEMOCRACY DAY: ‘Work Towards Glorious Future’, ASONIS President Tells Students

The Association of Southern Nigerian Students (ASONIS) President, Comrade Edeh Elijah Chinedu has implored Nigerian students, especially the southern students to avoid illegal association, be patriotic and be law abiding Nigerian.

In his democracy day message disclosed to Gistsmate correspondent through ASONIS chief of staff, Comr. Ogundele Ebenezer Olukayode, he said as a student we are expected to promote peace and unity in our different zones.

Comr. Ebenezer furthered that our interest as a student and good Nigerian didn’t worth shedding of blood, promoting insecurity, and joining bad association.

In conclusion, he urge all southern students to work towards a glorious future.

‘All students are expected to remain patriotic and law abiding.

‘We are expected to promote peace and unity in our different geopolitical zones.

‘Nobody’s interest is worth the shedding of Nigerian student’s blood, so we condemn the increasing rate of insecurities in Nigeria.

‘Finally, we want our students to avoid all illegal associations and work towards a glorious future.’
