We have received many calls and messages from Students, Stakeholders and concerned individuals who are passionate about welfare of Students on why leadership of the most ideological zone in Nigeria must swing into action with a view to rescuing LAUTECH Students from the antics of the management either to proscribe the union or impose whosoever they want to lead Students. We are yet to comprehend why management of LAUTECH have decided not to conduct the suspended election.
Having given the management enough time, we have taken it upon ourselves as headship of NANS South West to intervene. We would not fold our hands and allow management of any institution in South West to mute, decimate or kill Student’s Union Government which serves as messiah of Students. We have keenly watched the body language of LAUTECH management, it’s clear there’s a retrogressive agenda on that election and we are inquisitive to resist such devastating plot.
On this note, the leadership of NANS Zone D gives the management seven days ultimatum to shift ground on the suspended election or face the wrath of the Students. We would not hesitate to mobilize our Aluta Arsenals down to the campus if our request is not approved within the time. Apart from locking up the institution’s gate, we would temporarily shift the Secretariat of the zone to LAUTECH until the election is conducted. We implore LAUTECH Students to remain calm and law abiding as usual while waiting response from the management.
