The most interesting and ground breaking programme of National Association Of Nigerian Students, Southwest zone (Zone D) which started about a month ago has ended today in a inspiring, mouth opened and motivating way.
Note that, sixty (60) participants, 30 institutions were present at Lagos State University to battle out of the semi final place yesterday, 25th March 2020.
The grand finale occasion was graced by dignitaries, distinguish and positive minded students which includes Erstwhile LASUSU President, NANS PRO and Senate President, Comr. Agbabiaka Hammed, NANS National President, Comr. Asefon Sunday, Dr. Olumo, LASU Director Of Student’s Affairs, NANS Chairmen, SUG Presidents, Comrades, and students.
Twenty (20) participants with ten 10 institutions who made it to grand finale of the competition set Buba Marwa Auditorium, Lagos State University, Ojoo on fire as they ironed out their points on “Practically Solutions to Educational Issues Particular To Your Locality”
It was hard for the panel of judges to decide who will go home with the prize as one of the most respected and expected institution to win the prize which is University Of Ibadan went home with 7th position.
The eloquent but unlucky Ekiti State University took the fourth position, underated but smart Federal College Of Education (Affiliated To University Of Ibadan) took 3rd position which attracts sum of eighty thousand naira (#80,000.00), University Of Lagos goes home with second position and a sum of one hundred and twenty naira (#120,000.00), two hundred thousand naira (200,000.00) was awarded to the host institution, Lagos State University as they were crowned the king of Southwest debaters in the interesting, educative and mind blowing CLASH OF THOUGHTS, organized by Comr. Kappo Samuel Olawale Led administration of NANS Zone D.
