Amotekun Arrests And Over 70 Cattle, Herders In Ondo For Violating Anti-Open Grazing Law


Southwest Security Network Nicknamed ‘Amotekun’ Ondo state chapter has arrested some herders with a lot of cows which are more than seventy (70) numbers around FUTA road, Akure, the state capital. The herdsmen and their cows were arrested for violation of Anti-Open Grazing Law by Ondo state Government.

A twitter user @OndoFirstBorn reports that “Earlier today, Ondo Amotekun arrested & seized about 70 cattles and their herders around FUTA, Akure for violating the Ondo State Government’s anti-open grazing law.
The seized cattles were herded from FUTA through Oja-Oba to Amotekun office in Alagbaka. Kudos to Amotekun”

When I saw d picture in d afternoon, as posted by @AkureHowFar, I just suspected it had something 2 do with cows being arrested, cos it will be near or totally impossible now,4 herders 2 take their cattle via d hub of d state capital,after open grazing had been banned in d state”

These cows should be given to our butchers in akure city and other Local government for free….. At least beef go cheap and the mumu president nephews go learn their leason
